Description of the item
A Georgian single fusée 12" mahogany English dial clock. The 16" overall diameter mahogany case with case with cast brass bezel and convex glass faces the original painted dial complete with Roman numerals, and original blued steel hands driven by the English single fusée movement with shaped shoulders and brass bob pendulum.
The 12" painted dial with original patina signed for Hardy & Son Newark, the clock is attributed to Richard Hardy of Newark who is recorded in Loomes' Watch & Clockmakers of the world as working from 1813 - 1844.

The case is in good condition, the mechanism has been cleaned serviced and is fully working, - two very small areas to the dial have been re-touched. - displays very well - supplied with winder and 8" pendulum.
